Open Positions

Position is full time and requires open availability Monday-Sunday from 5am to 8pm. 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications:

  • RVT or 5+ years veterinary technician experience
  • Works well in a team environment

  • Animal handling experience

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing all duties required to care for hospitalized patients (including but not limited to: blood draws, communicating relevant information to veterinarians, and administer medications IV, IM, and SQ)
  • Accurately and reliably enter information into patient database
    Restrain pets in a manner that allows necessary work to be performed, minimizes patient stress, and ensures their safety and that of other people.
  • Safely and effectively apply and use restraint devices, including muzzles, towels, gloves, etc.
  • Perform venipunctures using patients’ cephalic, saphenous, and jugular veins in a manner that minimizes trauma to patients and injury to veins and allows you to successfully obtain non-hemolyzed blood samples.
  • Obtain urine sample via cystocentesis
  • Aseptically place cephalic and saphenous intravenous catheters.
  • Perform in-house lab work
  • Provide basic life support, including CPR, airway maintenance, and oxygen therapy.
  • Maintain animal under gas anesthesia and sedation and assist doctors in procedures as necessary
  • Perform dental scaling and polishing procedures and obtain full mouth digital dental radiographs
  • Position patients to obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs of skeletal anatomy, internal organs, superficial lesions, or extremities.
  • Clearly communicate treatment plans, patient status, and discharge instructions to owners

Position is full-time working overnight shifts (6pm to 5am) Saturdays to Tuesdays, 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications:

Primary Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Comfortable performing financial transactions and taking deposits from clients

  • Feeding and walking hospitalized patients (based on level of experience)
