Dr. Skyler Turner grew up in a small town in northeast Mississippi. He studied biological sciences with minor studies in art and bioanthropology at Mississippi State University and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Dr. Turner has advanced training in tissue, molecular, and microscope diagnostics and experience in veterinary biomedical research at Texas A&M University and other academic veterinary institutions in the midwest and southeastern United States. His clinical interests include client education, nutrition, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and preventive medicine. He is Fear Free Certified and a Purdue University Certified Rat Tickler. Outside the hospital, Dr. Turner enjoys day trips to Malibu, 2000s era video games and movies, dancing in WeHo, and reading in his backyard hammock. Sushi is his favorite food, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe is his favorite book, and Sophia is his favorite Golden Girl.
