Dr. Eric Kane

Dr. Eric Kane is a 2003 UC Davis Veterinary school graduate, working with dogs and cats as a general practice veterinarian ever since. 10 years before vet school completion, Eric was a 1993 graduate of Oak Park High School (locally grown), then went on to graduate with a BS in Animal Science (pre-vet) from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1998.

Dr. Kane joined Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2015, and has since given much time, energy, and devotion in trying to help the dogs and cats of this community. He dabbled in exotic medicine when he first arrived, and has compassion for all pets, but his true, lifelong passion and interests are with dogs and cats, and he offers his medical and surgical services exclusively for those pets.

Dr. Kane has a wife and kids and a little dog who are his world away from CVVH. He tries to stay fit for health and happiness and hopeful longevity, very much enjoys to play guitar and sing and listen to music and dance with his wife and/or kids, admits that he loves to watch (likely really bad) TV and movies, and fortunately/unfortunately (as he says), has the need/desire to stay current with regional and world events.

Dr Kane offers his medical and surgical services to current and new clients alike. With 20 years of practical experience, he hopes to bring a mix of old school and new school, knowing what he knows (and his limitations), and keeping up to date through continuing education, and through the invaluable knowledge of other (older, peer and younger) colleagues and vet team members he has worked with over the years and still today.

Dr Kane is available on Monday, Fridays, and Saturdays by appointment only, and he performs scheduled surgeries on Tuesdays. Any other limited availability would be through direct Dr. approval.
