Meet Sir Blue! He was brought to us about a month ago because he was not eating, vomiting and having diarrhea. The doctor took a few x-rays to check and make sure that there was nothing abnormal in the stomach or intestines to cause these symptoms, but they did find small foreign material noted in the GI tract. The Owners decided to wait and see if these small pieces of foreign material would pass by giving him IV fluids and treating with medications, but unfortunately they did not. Sir Blue was then taken in for emergency surgery a few days later. Dr. Maynard was able to successfully take out a few pieces of rubber, possibly from a Kong Frisbee and is recovering well. Thanks to your generous donations, he was able to receive this surgery and is doing great. His family is beyond happy to have their loving boy back to normal and healthy!
